What a pleasure to see the intersection of beautiful photographs of the author’s garden, Buddha’s teaching, personal musings, and gardening wisdom. In the beginning of the book one passage focuses on “A Flower in Your Heart” and I offer this to us today. This guided meditation passage evokes the sense of the beauty of a flower filling up your heart with love and then growing to encompass the entire body. The process is complete when that flower/love is passed to others where it also grows. (This is just a summary but you get the idea).

I’m looking forward to meeting Cheryl Wilfong and enjoying a flower with her. In fact, any time spent with Dr. Jon Connelly is focused on clearing the mind using the most effective tools possible. If Covey was right about the need to sharpen the saw (7 Habits of Highly Effective People) I’m really sharpening that saw now, in order to fine tune my skills while having things come to mind that are beneficial, appealing, and possible for me. Have I mentioned joyful? Yes, that too!

In fact, I’m inspired to write more about how RTR functions to communicate with purpose to the subconscious (primitive) mind in order to translate thoughts and emotions into action. (More about that in the next installment).

New Office Opens

Dorothy Rodwell, LMFT has opened a new office at 11615 Chitwood Drive, Suite 120 to complement her work on Fort Myers Beach where she uses an office at Chapel by the Sea Presbyterian Church.
